Mexico’s Spartan order
Mexico has ordered four C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft.

July 6: Alenia Aeronautica has announced that Mexico has signed a $200 million contract for four C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft. The contract was signed at the headquarters of SEDENA (Secreteria de la Defensa Nacional) in Mexico City with the first aircraft required by the end of the year and all four aircraft delivered by the end of 2012.
The contract also includes for logistics support for the fleet through the supply of spare parts and GSE (Ground Support Equipment). This brings the total number of C-27Js ordered to 83.
